5.0 - system with principally new features

We are glad to introduce to you the new 5.0 version of the system! From now on it's not just a softswitch, but a hybrid class 4/5 switch with advanced features. Therefore, product is called Smartswitch from now on.

Frankly speaking, at the early times, when the company has just started to establish, we didn't plan to invent something so flexible and complex as our product is nowadays. However time passes and creates new challenges for the developers...

So, here are the tasty features from the new release:

• The possibility of full control over the telephony calls processing. Only you are the man to decide, what has to be done with the incoming call. To answer the call, to play greeting, to dial providers with hunting on them - all this and much more is configurable via the Call Handler - telephony CAD application with Microsoft Visio - like interface;
• PBX-functions. System can now be used as office PBX. The following features are available: call forwarding, call transfer, IVR, and much more...
• The FAS detector will help you to determine unfair providers;
• Routes can be combined in the Route Groups to ease routing configuring;
• The ability to bill and account toll-free codes (for example, 8800).
