Smartswitch includes a flexible Role system that allows you to control which areas are visible to UI users. You can also configure which parts of the configuration are shared between users and which remain isolated.

As a Smartswitch owner, you can:

  • use the standard roles provided;
  • create your own roles from scratch;
  • copy and modify standard roles.

Below, you can try several standard roles that we have predefined for you.


Traditional Roles

This is a simple, starter, hierarchy of roles.


Man behind desk
Administrator

Can:

  • modify the system without restrictions;
  • view all reports without restrictions;
  • make/receive calls and send SMS.
Multiple users
Company
Can view their reports.
Single user
User

Can:

  • partially manage their configuration;
  • view their reports;
  • make/receive calls and send SMS.
Virtual PBX Roles

This is a more advanced set of roles designed for the Virtual PBX feature.


Cloud administrator
VPBX Administrator

Can:

  • partially manage Virtual PBX;
  • view their reports and of all created users;
  • make/receive calls and send SMS.

VPBX Supervisor

Can:

  • partially manage their configuration;
  • view their reports;
  • access reports, contacts and active calls of assigned agents;
  • make/receive calls and send SMS.

VPBX Agent

Can:

  • partially manage their configuration;
  • view their reports and reports of their team;
  • share contacts with their team;
  • make/receive calls and send SMS.
